Scholarships
Are you an ambitious international student? Do you have an offer to study an academic programme at Newcastle University International Study Centre? If so, you could be eligible to receive up to £5,000 towards your tuition fees.
And, once you start your Newcastle University degree, more scholarships will be offered.
Which scholarships are available?
International Foundation Joint Venture Scholarship (Part 1)
Get a one-off £5,000 tuition fee reduction in your first year at Newcastle University International Study Centre. Then, enjoy an additional £5,000 off your university tuition fees when you start your degree at Newcastle University.
To be considered, you must hold an offer to study an International Foundation programme at Newcastle University International Study Centre for the September 2025 intake. Exceptions apply.
If applying through an education counsellor, contact them for more information. For all other students, apply via the centre after accepting your offer.
Application deadlines: 31 March (September intake) and 30 November (January intake)
Regional Scholarship
Up to £4,000 one-off tuition fee reduction for your first year at Newcastle University International Study Centre.
To be considered, you must hold an offer to study an academic pathway programme at Newcastle University International Study Centre.
Scholarship availability and value may vary. If applying through an education counsellor, contact them for more information. For all other students, apply via the centre after accepting your offer.
Progression scholarships
Newcastle University offers a range of scholarships when you progress to your degree, which may include:
Vice Chancellor Scholarships – £3,000 (guaranteed for all students upon progression to Newcastle University, no application required)
International Foundation Joint Venture Scholarship (Part 2) – £5,000.
Enhanced Progression Scholarships – up to £8,000 over the course of your degree.
